FRESHMAN SERVICE PROJECTS
Collect old eyeglasses and cell phones from friends and family. Bring them back to your building’s Resident Director for collection.
Recycling Eyeglasses. Give the Gift Of Sight. Collect old eyeglasses. Drop off your used eyeglasses to your building’s Resident Director. Donated eyeglasses will be cleaned, repaired, classified by prescription then hand-delivered to people in need in local communities and around the world by LenCrafters and Lions Club volunteers.
Recycling Cell Phones. Collect old cell phones and help others in need. Drop off your wireless phones that are no longer being used to your building’s Resident Director. Donated phones will be delivered to Verizon to be refurbished and recycled. The HopeLine phone recycling program uses wireless services and equipment to assist victims in emergency domestic violence situations.
